Birchbox - June 2014

Woo! Would you look at that. My Birchbox arrived yesterday which is super duper early this month since it's technically supposed to ship today. This definitely makes up for last month's delayed shipment times ten! I can't wait to reveal my new products. This month is all about traveling and inspiration. Here's a peek:

Birchbox teamed up with JetBlue this month so it's all about perfect ready amenity kits and travel ready samples for on the go and so much more.

This is what's included in my box this month:

Just lovely!

I received (from left to right) Cynthia Rowley Beauty Silver Eyeliner, LAQA & Co Sheer Lip Lube Pencil in Menatour (Purple), Perlier Body Cream in Shea Almond, Dr. Hauschka Lemon Lemongrass Vitalising Body Wash, and nyakio Kenyan Coffee Face Polish, Body Scrub, and Hydrating Face Oil.

I can't believe I've been a member for a year already! Last year June I received my first Birchbox which also included a LAQA & Co lip pencil. It's such a coincidence that I received another one from their new collection that I'll come to love. I would've never thought to try such a daring color but it is a new trend so I think I'll give it a try. The pencil goes on smooth and sheer which I love! LAQA & Co hasn't let me down yet.

The Cynthia Rowley eyeliner is also another favorite of this box. I've been wanting a silver eyeliner for a very long time but never took the time to actually go out and buy one. I'm super excited that I received this sample because it's a decent size that would last. The color glides on smoothly, pops, and stays put on your lids. I know about the Cynthia Rowley brand so I did expect quality and I got it!

I can never go wrong with body cream samples. The Perlier body cream has such an amazing scent that I can get obsessed with. Also the sample size is perfect to fit in my cosmetic bag. Made all the way in Italy so it's no surprise that the quality is just absolutely amazing. Super moisturizing and intense hydration. Can't go wrong with that!

There's not too much to say about the Dr. Hauschka body wash. The smell is great because I love the scent of lemongrass. The sample size not so much. It literally looks like a tube of ointment. Also it's a bit pricey for the full size version for such a small amount but it was effective and is a great body wash.

Last but not least, the nyakio collection. It's a new experience for me because I've never tried Kenyan coffee on my face or body. I'm glad that Birchbox decided to send me samples of all three even though they're just little packet samples. There's nothing wrong with trying new things.

Sadly, my year is up with Birchbox and I won't be renewing right away due to the fact that I need to save money for college and other necessities. This month was not a disappointment which I'm grateful for since it's my last box. I'm definitely going to miss the surprises every month but hopefully I'll have a chance to renew my subscription soon.

Here's everything that was included in my box to shop for as full size items in the Birchbox shop.
