Mmm, Pizza!

Now looking for the best frozen pizza is pretty hard for me. I'm a New Yorker so I know my pizza very well! I've scouted so many grocery stores and tried so many varieties (toppings are limited for me since I'm a vegetarian). Hands down, I still can't pick a favorite today but I decided to review a new one that I found since this particular pizza stood out to me in many ways.

Introducing FRESCHETTA!

This pizza may look like your ordinary frozen pizza once out of the box but trust me, It's not. Yeah, it may not look like anything special at the moment but once it's out of the oven you'll probably be a little shocked.

Everything is almost near perfect! Just baked at 400 degrees fahrenheit for about 19 minutes, you'll get this beauty. The cheese is perfectly melted, thick, and not dripping with oil. The crust is super puffy and tastes wonderful.

I also was able to slice this pizza right away without any problems. My favorite about this pizza is the four cheese. The cheeses were pretty thick which I love because I'm a total cheese fan. The crust was thick but not a doughy texture which is also a thumbs up. I did not enjoy the under layer of the pizza too much. I thought it was quite bland but tolerable. The price was slightly higher than your average box of DiGiorno too. Not so many varieties were available at my local grocery store but maybe there will be more soon!

What's your favorite frozen pizza?

Class of 2014!

I made it!

Of course I wouldn't forget to post about graduation. I'm so happy to say that I'm finally a high school graduate and will be a freshman in college this fall. Being handed my diploma was one of the happiest days in my life. Now I can't wait to accomplish greater things!

The list of graduates at Mesa Ridge High School for the class of 2014 was quite long but I want to congratulate everyone who succeeded and is moving on to better things in life. (My name is the last on the left page, right row)!

I was handed the senior edition of the newspaper after graduating to keep almost like a keepsake to remember. I regret not participating in the journalism program in high school but I'll hopefully have the chance to in college since it's part of my major after all. Every senior at Mesa Ridge High School had a mini interview that was published in the paper. Mine was a bit short, slightly cheesy but completely honest.

Haha, there I am!

Birchbox - May 2014

Can you believe it? Birchbox is finally here! There were some faulty shipping errors which sent my box to different state addresses but thanks to the amazing customer service of Birchbox I finally got my box delivered to me!

I also love the shipping box design for this month. I never shopped at Kate Spade Saturday before but I wonder if it's just as great as Kate Spade New York. The yellow definitely brightens my day! This month's theme is FreeWheeling. Here's a peek:

May is all about rebirth. There's so much going on in so little time and it's all just so exciting! The transition from late spring to early summer is just too great for words.

This is what's included in my box this month:

Such a great box this month! Despite the delays, I can actually put all of these samples to great use. Of course there is one sample I didn't necessarily need but it's still great to have on hand.

I received (from left to right) Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm in Coral Crush, Smashbox Cosmetics Photo Finish Foundation Primer, Coola Environmental Repair Plus Radical Recovery After-Sun Lotion, Caudalie Polyphenol C15 Overnight Detox Oil, and SmartyPants All-in-One Fiber Gummies for Weight Management (lifestyle extra).

The lifestyle extra definitely tops last month's. I really wish they sent the serving size of 6 gummies. I can say this has been the best lifestyle extra I've received that I'm willing to invest in as soon as possible. These gummies are super delicious and the fact that they're vitamins makes it all better! I'm assuming that Birchbox had a bit of a mix up with the name of these gummies. I don't think there was any fiber in the ones I received but they were still great.

The Pixi lip balm has definitely been added to my cosmetic bag. I love that it's full size which can be rare with Birchbox. I wore it out and my boyfriend thought I was wearing lipstick. It hydrates well and gives my lips a full splash of color without the dried out lipstick feeling.

The other three samples were pretty cool considering I've never tried anything like them. The Smashbox primer had such a soft and smooth feeling to it that I've never felt before. I don't typically use primer since I don't often ever wear foundation but this may come in handy one day. The Coola after-sun lotion will also come in handy since summer is surely right around the corner. My face tends to be the first area that gets sun burned so I'm glad to have extra protection. Now the Caudalie detox oil goes great with the Caudalie foaming cleanser that I received in my Birchbox last February. Such a great combination but also a little too pricey for me to always keep on hand.

Overall I had a great box this month. Hopefully my future boxes will be similar to these without the delays. I can't wait for June! It'll be my one year anniversary with Birchbox. Woo!

Here's everything that was included in my box to shop for as full size items in the Birchbox shop.

P.S. - For a limited time you can get your first Birchbox for only $5 by using the code SUMMERSUB.

I SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!

Surprisingly it was such nice day out today. The weather stayed super warm all day but of course there was some unexpected rain that came in for about 10 minutes only because it's Colorado. I had graduation practice early this morning which was sort of fun but also quite boring since after all it was only practice.

At the end of the day Andrew and I went out or some delicious ice cream at Dairy Queen. I'm usually more of a Cold Stone Creamery kind of girl but this definitely hit the spot. I had a confetti cake waffle cone blizzard (pictured above). It made me realize that summer is almost here and I think I'm ready. There's so much to look forward to and graduation is on Monday. Woo!

Goodnight everyone! :)

SALE!

I'm officially out of high school and I'm super excited! The first thing I had to do was...hit the mall with Andrew after saying goodbye to most of my friends and having some delicious sushi. I finally have more time on my hand and I'm a bit loss for what to actually do with it. Of course I'll be blogging as much as I can but since today is my first day off I guess I'll blog about a really good sale I spotted yesterday at the mall at American Eagle Outfitters.

Ok, so I have a keen eye to spot sales really quickly. In fact, I tend to love sales mostly because the prices are cheaper, usually you get the last of what's in stock, variety varies, and it's an adventure to find something! Yesterday I spotted an additional 60% off clearance in American Eagle Outfitters and I couldn't pass up not getting at LEAST one thing.

So, I got two things instead! :) I found this really cute muscle t-shirt that retailed at $34.95. It was on sale for $29.99 which isn't much of a saving but with the additional 60% off it was a bargain! I absolutely loved the soft material it was made out of. Also the mesh, crotchet, and zipper backing caught my eye immediately. It's pretty plain in the front but I think that the back makes up for it. This tank came up to about $12 which I thought was a pretty good deal compared to the retail price.

Secondly, I found these really cute soft pants that are super comfy and versatile. They're very loose fitting all around and I kind of regret buying a size small even though it was the smallest size they had available at the time but I couldn't pass these up. The sale tag on these also stated $29.99 but when I went to the register they also came up to around $12. So basically I spent $24 for an outfit! Everything is super comfortable and the materials are lightweight (not to be confused with cheap).

I'm not a typical shopper for American Eagle Outfitters but I gotta admit that their sale is amazing! Just thought I'd let you guys know. :) Have a great Wednesday!

Ipsy - May 2014

Oh yeah, Ipsy is here! No surprise that it was able to show up before my Birchbox. I'm so excited to see what I've received. I absolutely love the cosmetic bag this month. Looks very eco-friendly and feels so natural. I guess it makes sense since this month's theme is "Fresh Picks". Check it out!

This month was pretty interesting. Most of the products are skincare products which I'm always happy about. I only recognized one brand for this month's bag which I don't mind because I love experimenting. This month I received approximately $50 worth of products this month which I'm not complaining about since a subscription costs only $10. I didn't receive any full sized products this month but all of the samples are generous sizes that can last for more than one use.

derma e Microdermabrasion Scrub
Hey Honey Take It Off! Exfoliating Honey Peel Off Mask
Pur~lisse pur~moist hydra balance moisturizer
Hang Ten Classic Sport SPF 50
Pacifica Mineral Eye Shadow in Celestial & Opal

I don't think I can pick a favorite this month because I actually love everything! The sizes are decent even though I still would have loved to receive a full size item this month. I also love that the products are actually related to the theme. I received vegan and natural products to use which my skin would be happy to indulge in.

Ok, so maybe there is one disappointment in this bag. I'm not so excited about the Pacifica eyeshadow but I don't hate it. Almost every month Ipsy sends me an eyeshadow in such similar nude shades that it's dulling me out. I think I have way too many nude/brown eyeshadows to go around. I guess you can't have too much but in my case I think I can.

I'm still proud to be a glam bag subscriber and I'll still be looking forward to next month! I hope it gets even better but I guess I'll have to wait and see.

So Fetch!

Oh, I'm not just teasing at all.

Can I get a drumroll please...

I know I have tons of making up to do for being gone for so long. I couldn't believe I went through the entire month of April without letting you guys have the chance to win something cool. Well wait no longer! I finally was able to do some shopping and came across this really cute wristlet/wallet/phone case or whatever you would want to call it. I love the metallic texture and thought, this would be a really cute gift for someone since I have way too many wallets for my own good. That's when I figured, hey, new giveaway!

Here it is! You can definitely add this as a summer essential, especially for those days when you don't want to carry around a huge purse. It can hold your credit cards, money, cell phone and almost anything basic without it weighing you down. Also the silver/pewter metallic is great design that will go with almost anything. I like it, so I hope one of you will like it too! Enter for a chance to win it today.

Giveaway is open to residents of the US and the winner will be chosen randomly by PunchTab.

The winner will have 48 hours to respond to the email sent from PunchTab or a new winner will be announced. Good luck! :)

What is your go-to summer accessory? Let me know in the comments below!

Beauty Box 5 - May 2014

Look at what showed up in my mailbox yesterday!

Introducing Beauty Box 5! This month I wanted to try a new beauty subscription besides my regular Birchbox and Ipsy just to have a new taste on what's out there.

Beauty Box 5 delivers 5 deluxe samples and/or full sized products for only $12 a month ($30 quarterly, or $99 yearly). Every month you'll receive a mix of makeup, beauty accessories, hair, skincare, fragrance, body and nail products. This month's theme is "fresh and focused". Check it out!

Montagne Jeunesse Glacial Cooling Face Mask
Aveeno Positively Nourishing Calming Body Wash
BH Cosmetics California Collection Eyeshadow Palette
La Fresh Travel Lite Facial Cleansing Wipes
Just Being Sexy Body Bronzer

When I first opened this box, I was quite bothered by what I received. I wasn't so excited at all. Most of the products came off a bit drugstore-ish which I immediately thought was pretty bland. The glacial cooling face mask and the facial cleansing wipes were probably the most interesting items in my opinion only because I can't live without skincare products.

Now onto the box itself, I'm not so sure if I'll continue my monthly subscription. A thumbs down for me is that the boxes are not customizable for your individual preferences. BB5 makes sure that everything is neutral and usable for everyone no matter what hair type or skin tone which is great but can easily get pretty boring. Also variety is a bit plain since everyone will receive very similar boxes every month. I'm not saying this box is all so bad. In fact, it would be great for someone who doesn't get around to trying new products or who wants to be surprised every month. I just don't think it's for me or maybe I joined on a month where they fell short.

Overall I received approximately $17 worth of products for a box that typically costs $12. Value isn't very significant but you're still getting your money's worth with just a tad bit extra. The box is quite affordable and you can cancel your subscription anytime.

Here's everything that was included in my box to shop for as full size items in the BB5 shop.

Why Just Shave When You Can Glow?

I received this product for review purposes.

The weather outside is refreshing which means its time to store away those cozy sweaters and coats and get out your flowery sundresses and denim shorts! But do you know what else that means? Time for silky smooth legs! Thanks to BzzAgent, I had the opportunity to review and try the new BIC Soleil Glow disposable razors.

Now these razors are guaranteed a flawless finish. The comfort shield head glides gently without getting a nick here and there while also pivoting for a sleek finish. Each razor has 3 flexible blades with lubricating strips to soften your skin while shaving and a plastic cap to protect the blades for more uses. The rubber grip on each razor makes handling it in the shower so much easier and comfortable to work with.

Now what I do like about these razors that gives it its own unique stance is the color scheme. You'll receive three pastel (green, purple, and pink) razors in each package because why can't we have cute razors to shave with? Another plus is the price. MSRP of $6.99 for one package of 3 is a huge bargain in my opinion. Can you imagine the price when you find them on sale? The bonus coupon also made me happy to find. I'm not sure if there's one included in each package but I guess that's for us to find out.

Overall I highly recommend to give these a try. I'm very familiar with the BIC brand and so far I haven't been disappointed. These razors will be great to stock up on all summer long. They're way less than your average leading brand and so much better than the cheap ones you can find for almost the same price. You can't go wrong with these!

Ready, Set, Go!

Hello lovelies!

Today was such an exhausting day! So many exams this week and it's literally driving me nuts. I'm super happy that I'll be out of school officially on the 13th of this month which is just 5 days away! I'm also looking forward to graduation on the 19th so I still have some time before I can say I'm totally finished with high school. Woo!

Just to let myself know that summer is around the corner, I was surprised with a new pair of workout/running shoes. I don't know about you guys but when it's summer time, it's definitely workout time! I love getting fit just in time for nice weather and before a new school year.

Here's my brand new pair of Nike Flyknit Lunar1+ that I thought I'd share because I think they're pretty cool. Two words for these shoes: SUPER COMFY! I'm typically a huge Nike fan when it comes to workout gear. I absolutely love the variety of colors and textures. I also love the fact that these shoes are actually knitted so they're breathable for your feet. I don't believe that any shoe is made for just one specific thing. So for example, these shoes can be great for everyday wear and not only for running or working out. I can't wait to hit the gym. New workout gear motivates me even more!

P.S - You can purchase these sneakers online here. They're over 50% off the retail price!

I've Missed You All!

I can't believe it's already May! So much time has passed and I can't stop being super busy even on the weekends. So much has happened in such little time. With finals already in tact it can be very stressful but I can finally say I only have 13 more days until graduation! Woohoo!

I know I haven't posted for quite some time, so I figure I'll summarize and share the last week of April with prom!

I can definitely say that I had a blast at prom! Sorry for the lack of pictures but the excitement was just so enjoyable that I completely forgot to take more. I wasn't even prepared for the one above. Everything was a bit last minute but Andrew and I tried our best to work everything out so that we can have the time of our lives. I went along and rented the beautiful Badgley Mischka "Sequin Stardust Gown" that I fell in love with from Rent the Runway. I definitely know where to turn to if I ever want a cute designer dress that's out of my budget for an event. I did decide to wear flats to elongate my dress because who doesn't want a long dress for prom? Sadly, I ordered a size too big but I was still able to manage it for the dance. Attending prom made me realize that I'm super excited to graduate and head to college. Definitely can't wait to experience more new adventures.

Overall, I'm finally back to blogging and hopefully I won't ever have to take a break anytime soon again. Thanks for sticking around everyone! :)
