Homecoming Vox Box!

I received this product for review purposes

Hey you all!

I know it seems like I haven't published a review post in forever! Yes, I've purposely done that so that I'm able to express myself beyond just review posts. However, this one is going to be a bit different because this box has a lot of personality and I surely enjoyed it!

Introducing the Homecoming VoxBox from Influenster!

This box was lots of fun because it was totally unexpected. From candy to skincare, the options were all pretty random but that's what made this box special in its own way.

This box screamed "awesome care package" all in one. First up you have Red Vines Twists, Kettle Brand Potato Chips, Luden's Throat Drops, Olay Active Botanicals face cleanser, and SinfulColors SinfulShine nail polish and top coat.

The candy twists reminded me of my childhood favorites of Twizzlers. This one however had a different taste and texture that I instantly was hooked to.

I enjoyed these Kettle Brand chips with a veggie burger and they were amazing! It had the perfect crunch and enough spices and flavor to keep me satisfied. Greatest addition to my veggie burger dorm room living style.

I haven't yet tried the throat drops since I'm my throat isn't achy or anything so these will be stored in my room for my sick days once the fall season rolls around.

I'm usually never disappointed in Olay products so it was no surprised that their cleanser turned out to be a great one for my face. I generally used it to get off my eye makeup since it's a gel cleanser and it also worked well with my Clarisonic and did not irritate my skin.

These SinfulColors nail polishes are just proof that SinfulColors has come a long way. The polishes are apart of their new collection "SinfulShine" which include gel tech in their two step manicure process. You start step one by applying two coats of SinfulShine nail color and then seal with SinfulShine top coat for added shine and wear.

I loved the variety that Influenster included in this box and literally everything in this box was something that I've never tried before so the experience was definitely worth my wild. I hope in the near future that I'll be able to try another one of their cool curated boxes!

Junk Food Needed!

Hey you all!

I can't believe that I've been in college for almost a month already. This means that summer is basically almost over at this point. Boo! Today I was able to complete one of my classes which knocks it off of my schedule for good. Sadly I won't be complete with the semester until December.

I've decided to share a couple of random junk food snaps off of my phone to keep the summer flow going before autumn gets here. Don't those donuts just look soooo delicious?!

And why yes I do not include chocolate when I make s'mores which is a bit weird but hey that's me! I hope you all are having an awesome day. I'm off to finish up some homework because a day in a typical students' life is just super busy. Hopefully I'll have some free time eventually. One can only hope!

Lush Obsession! II

My journey is continued!

Due to my falling in love with Lush's wonderful fresh face masks, I'm now on a journey to try them all! Last month I literally had the best experience ever with trying the cupcake and cosmetic warrior face masks. If I had to pick a favorite out of the two it would probably be cosmetic warrior. My face has cleared up a lot ever since and I would have tried these beauties a lot sooner if I would have known! Now this post is not "sponsored" so it's not my duty to convince you to head on over to Lush but I do highly recommend from the bottom of my heart that you won't be disappointed if you do.

Here we have the love lettuce mask. When I put this one on I like to think of myself as the hulk haha. It's an awesome exfoliator using ground almonds instead of those weird micro plastic beads in most masks. I love to use this one right before bed with its calming lavender oil. It's also great for oily skin which shows up pretty commonly on my combination skin. So far with trying all of the face masks, my sensitive skin has been pretty tolerant so no worries there!

I was super excited to pick up this mask because it was sold out on my initial trip to Lush. What's really got me hooked on it is the fact that it contains blueberries! I absolutely love blueberries but have never tried them on my face but so far they're nice!

I'll definitely have to use up another weekend to head on over to Lush to grab a couple more fresh face masks once these two are out. I'm still debating what to try next but I surely can't wait!
