SinfulColors Summer 2014

I received this product for review purposes.

This summer is filled with excitement with all of the new arrivals hitting the shelves. Here's a new summer collection of nail polish from SinfulColors that'll hopefully be in your area (and on your nails) soon that I'll like to introduce to you!

It's definitely time to slip into summer with these gorgeous and vibrant "pedal to the medal" shades from SinfulColors. Pictured above, the all new Full Throttle collection features five shades in rubberized textures. I received three shades to review in the picture above (from right to left) in "Rubber Ball" a passionate pit stop pink, "Burn Rubber" a fiery-fueled orange, and "Rain Rubber" a brilliant burnout blue. The collection will be available for $1.99 each exclusively at Rite Aid for July 2014 and Walgreens for August 2014.

Rubber Ball

This super hot pink is one I can fall in love with easily. I own colors that are quite similar to this and I've gotta say that the rubberized texture made this shade all the better. It's both rubbery and slightly bumpy. The pink color can come off as a bit "loud" with a hint of magenta. The polish itself goes on and off without much effort and dries pretty quick. I used two coats over my bare nails (even though one coat looked just as good) and I am pretty satisfied about the result. Definitely a summer staple color that I look forward to wearing again.

Burn Rubber

Now this was a new experience for me. I've never tried any orange shades because I'm usually a classic nude, pink, or red kind of girl. With just two coats I won't ever hesitate to use this shade again. I believe it literally screams summer and it's a fun shade to show off. I can definitely say I'm a new fan. :)

Rain Rubber

What a lovely blue! Now this is a color that I think can work for multiple seasons such as spring and summer. It's totally not your average blue either. The shade is bright but not enough where I would consider it a neon. If you would rather it slightly darker I would suggest adding about three coats.

Overall I truly love this collection. If I had to choose a favorite I would definitely pick "Burn Rubber" because of it's hot hue. The texture is also something different than your average polish and the price is very inexpensive compared to others.

That's not all...

Introducing yet another wonderful collection from SinfulColors for this season. With these "sinfully luxurious" shades, you'll definitely want to try them all. Pictured above, the all new Silk + Satin collection features six shades in a demi-matte silk texture. I received three shades to review in the picture above (from right to left) in "Pipaya" a soft flash of coral, "Solar Flux" a subtle touch of yellow, and "Prime Purple" a delicate dose of lilac. The collection will be available for $1.99 each exclusively at Walgreens and other mass retailers for July 2014.

Pipaya

I'm a huge fan of coral as it's such a classic mix of pinks, oranges, and red. This coral shade is a much more darker reddish-orange than others I own but I don't mind. The demi-matte silk texture for this collection dried much more quickly than the rubberized textures and also smoothly in my opinion. I would recommend two coats or more for this collection specifically because of the texture. It can dry a bit streaky with just one coat unless you're possibly a perfectionist.

Solar Flux

I hesitated a bit when choosing this color to review only because it's not a color I typically turn to. Just like the "Burn Rubber" orange, it was a new experience for me and I've gotta admit that it's not a bad shade at all. I can also say that it looks way better in person than in the picture. It's a rather pale yellow color that can come off as a bit pastel-y.

Prime Purple

Last but not least, this is a shade that I'm totally familiar with only because I've been rocking lilac very often during spring. The texture however gives it the extra oomph which makes it stand out than my other polishes. The color is just perfect with two coats and a top coat will definitely add a satin shine if you're looking to get creative.

Overall the Silk + Satin collection didn't excite me as much as the Full Throttle but the shades were just as lovely. I would classify the shades I received in this collection as a spring accessory but I'm sure there's one person out there who can make them work all year round. (That might be you)! Be sure to look out for these beauties in stores soon!

I also suggest checking out the SinfulColors Facebook and Twitter pages to stay up to date with the latest collections, tips, and swatches!

Which collection are you up for trying this summer?
