It's June which means it's the month of summer and Father's Day is right around the corner. I don't think I've ever really focused on parent-oriented holidays, especially male ones so this post is a little different for me as much as it is for you.

One way you can celebrate this year is by letting the guys celebrate with a nice cold beer. To your surprise, I am in fact a beer girl. It's one of the things I like to grab with my friends to relax, and my dad loves it as well, so it's a win-win.

This is our first experience with Michelob Ultra, and they don't disappoint. The beer genuinely tastes like what the bottle says, a "superior light beer" so it's rather refreshing and goes down smooth. Today I wanted to give some ideas on how you and the father figure in your life, whether it's a friend, brother, etc., can celebrate with a cold one.

Here in Colorado, in particular, it's always a fun time to go golfing. Personally, I'm a huge fan of mini-golf as I suck at golf but enjoy just having fun playing the sport. It's been quite some time since I've played but generally afterward is a great time to head over to your favorite food spot and grab a burger and a bottle of Michelob Ultra.

Bowling is another excellent way to spend some quality time and a pitcher if you're really in the mood. I like to think I'm the queen of bowling so celebrating with an ice-cold beer is well worthy.

If you're feeling a bit more adventurous, head west over to the mountains for a hike or to take in the view is never a bad idea, and if your dad or father figure is a bit lazy like mine, it can just be an excuse to get out for a breath of fresh air.

Wanna know some fun facts about Michelob Ultra? With 95 calories and 2.6 carbs, you surely don't have to feel guilty about this light, refreshing beer after hitting around town with your old man. It IS possible to stay active and healthy while feeling great about drinking (responsibly of course).

So grab your clubs, bowling shoes, or whatever it may be, head outside and enjoy the day by laughing a little too hard and downing a cold beer.

Cheers to the ULTRA Dad who likes beer!
