Memebox - Special #19 Cleansing Kit

I received this product for review purposes

Did you know about the world's number one K-beauty store?

Well you do now! Introducing Memebox, the fabulous beauty box that came all the way from Seoul, Korea! It has arrived here in the U.S. and other countries just recently for purchase. Memebox carries four main types of beauty boxes: Memebox, Memebox Special Editions, Superbox, and Luckybox. In addition to the variations of boxes, there are also full-size Korean beauty products available for purchase in the Memeshop!

Today I'll be focusing on the Memebox Special #19 Cleansing Kit. Check it out!

The Memebox Special Edition is designed to come packaged with 4-8 full size products and deluxe samples under its own theme. It's also designed to meet various concerns, beauty trends, and also seasonal needs. My theme is related to cleansing which suits me well as I'm still striving for perfect (or almost perfect) clear skin. This kit reveals the secrets of the 6 step (listed on the website) Korean skin cleaning system for flawless, porcelain skin.

I was shocked to see that everything included in this box is full size. I was also astonished to see such exotic products. Brand wise, they were all new to me. However, I'm just slightly skeptical about the ingredients being written in what I believe is to be Korean since it is Korean beauty after all. The information card includes all of the products with a description and a "how-to use" but I just can't seem to find an ingredient list anywhere. For my sensitive skin and me being not able to understand or read Korean, this is surely an adventure that I'm not so sure I'm up for.

Pictured above are four out of six full sized products I received in my Memebox

Starting from left to right we have the arrahan Peeling Gel ($17), Tosowoong Acne Cleansing Foam ($15), SecretKey Oil-Free Lip & Eye Makeup Remover ($9), and the D'Ran Wonder Pure Cleansing Lotion ($25). I'm really interested to test out these products by the product descriptions despite the inability to read the ingredients. I think I'll take a shot with the cleansers and I'm sure the makeup remover will work just fine without causing any irritations. I'm picky when it comes to lotions for my face so I think I'll hold off on the cleansing lotion for awhile until I can do more research on the product.

Lastly I received (from left to right) the Makeup Helper Special Pore Care 2 Step ($20) and the Ferderma Egyptian Mask Pack ($2). I love trying new masks so I'm sure it won't do any harm to test out this one. Apparently you're supposed to rest with the mask over your face for 30 minutes which seems quite long compared to other masks I've used in the past. The special pore care is a bit iffy to me with the rising skin temperatures and tightening of pores. Not so sure if it'll be a product for me but I won't judge until I try it!

Overall I've received $88 worth of products based on their values on the card and the box itself only costs $23. So far the value is definitely amazing, the products however is sort of a challenge unless you're familiar with them.

If you're interested, currently Memebox does not offer monthly subscription plans so each box will have to be purchased upon release (shipping not included). Also I have a coupon code that I'm excited to share with you all that I'll list below!

4NESVA - $5 off any order (Valid until September 30th, 2014.  Limit one per customer)
