Ooh, Audrey!

My admiration for Audrey Hepburn is all but wacky.

Have you ever noticed the quote "...Happy Girls Are The Prettiest Girls..." located under my header? If you haven't, double check! (I love that quote)! Audrey Hepburn is an icon in my life who I truly appreciate for all of her wonderful deeds, chic lifestyle, and classic stunning movies that I can't help but replaying over and over...and over.

Today I wanted to share with you my top 4 favorite movies starring the one and only Audrey!

1. Breakfast At Tiffany's - My all time favorite movie in the world! Audrey Hepburn stars as Holly Golightly who lives in a brownstone on Manhattan's East Side in the early 60's. She may come off as your typical socialite but she definitely isn't who she seems to be living alone in a nearly unfurnished apartment with a cat without a name. When Paul moves into the apartment upstairs, everything gets even more interesting from there. This movie features romance, drama, fashion, and of course the beautiful New York City all in one. Must see!

2. Funny Face - One of my favorite musicals (besides Grease of course) staring Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire. It all starts out in a bookstore located in Greenwich village where Jo (Audrey) lands a huge modeling contract for her unique and classic beauty (sort of on accident). Of course Jo accepts, mainly because of the trip to Paris that came along. There's so much beautiful singing and dancing that you won't be able to not enjoy this film.

3. Roman Holiday - Your absolute classic romantic about a rebellious princess wanting to enjoy the world around her. Princess Anne (Audrey) is tired of having all of her time scheduled for royal duties and decides to sneak off and explore Rome on her own. She is later found sound asleep on a public bench by an American newspaper reporter. All of the fun continues from there. Now I don't want to give it all away but I can guarantee that you'll love this one!

4. Sabrina - Sabrina (Audrey) is a young chauffeurs daughter who has been madly in love with David since shes laid eyes on him. David however doesn't even know that Sabrina exists until she returns from a two year trip from Paris as an elegant (and attractive) young woman. Linus (David's brother) notices the spark and fears that Sabrina may interfere with an upcoming wedding that has been planned for David with a very wealthy woman. Linus refuses to let the wedding come down in jeopardy considering that there is an exclusive deal behind it all so he steps in and tries to end it all between the two by using  his charm. You'll find out more once you're into it!

Now I do have a few more that I would love to share of course but I highly recommend these ones for sure since they're my favorites after all. You won't be able to have enough of Audrey. I know I can't! :)
