PLAY! by Sephora | October 2016

It's here! My second PLAY! by Sephora box is finally here! I'm generally used to getting my subscription boxes earlier in the month but it seems like PLAY! runs a bit late which is going to take some getting used to because I'm always excited and ready to know what I'm receiving.

I absolutely love the bag that my goodies came in. I had to treasure it first before I completely disregarded it to reveal the products I received for this month. Love the play on words, I see what you did there Sephora!

1. Farmacy Skin Dew Hydrating Essence Mist & Setting Spray
  • I'm no stranger when it comes to setting sprays. I've gotta admit that the color through me off for this one and I wouldn't necessarily call it a setting spray. It sort of reminds me of a toner to use before moisturizer and it's the perfect size to toss in my bag.

2. Derek Lam 10 Crosby - Silent St
  • I adore musky smells and this is all about musk. It's not too overpowering and seems to leave a lasting scent which is always a plus.

3. The Estée Edit Flash Photo Gloss
  • I'm not much of a gloss girl so I wasn't too excited to be receiving this. The idea behind it however seems pretty cool. I may layer it over a matte lipstick to test it's true deed.

4. Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick
  • I'm a huge Smashbox fan when it comes to their primers. I've also heard amazing things about their lip products but never took the leap in buying them. I'm not so sure if this color will suit me but I do love having matte lips so I'll keep this one.

5. Madam C.J. Walker Beauty Culture Scent & Shine Coconut Oil
  • I absolutely love coconut oil. It's literally the one thing that I always put in my hair to keep it soft and lustrous. This oil has a blend of essential oils as well for scent so this will be going in my hair ASAP.

6. Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum
  • I remember the days when Drunk Elephant first came around, and now they're being sold at Sephora! Woo-hoo. I had the opportunity to review this a couple of years back and I loved it!

Overall, I think my first box killed it hands down but I'm still going to be having fun using these products this month. I don't necessarily have a favorite this time around but it's nice to receive products I would've never thought I'd turn to.

Sadly the wait list is currently close but keep checking back to claim a spot for a box next month!
