Lush Haul!

Hey everyone!

It's safe to say that Lush is officially one of my favorite stores and I couldn't help splurging this past Christmas on some new goodies to kick in the new year with! Since I've incorporated their products into the majority of my daily regime, I thought I'd share with you a brief summary of ones I've grabbed recently.

Rose Jam Shower Gel - An immediate con is that this shower gel is limited edition! Luckily I was able to grab two bottles during Lush's once a year BOGO sale after Christmas. Rose Jam has the most wonderful smell and uses a variety of oils and juices. It works wonders on my skin leaving me smelling fresh and feeling soft. Since it's all natural, I don't have to worry about breaking out and can ditch my Dove sensitive body wash for good!

Cranberry Festive Face Mask - Sadly this mask turned out to not be one of my favorites. The smell has an overpowering fragrance that I can't really narrow down to what it actually is and it also has a burning sensation that hurts when applying to my face but once it's dry it's fine. It does leave my skin clean and soft but I don't think I'll be purchasing this one again, however it was nice to try since it was limited edition!

Don't Look At Me Fresh Face Mask - I absolutely love this mask! It's vivid blue color brightens my day and it's a bit scrubby and smooth which is great to spread evenly and exfoliate my entire face. I redeemed my five pots for this one and I think I'd be purchasing it again in the near future.

Magical Moringa Facial Moisturizer - This moisturizer is heaven. Hands down! Best thing ever! It melts between my fingers and leaves my face super matte. It can get a bit annoying to melt when it's kept in colder temperatures and it's not the best primer for makeup but if you have combination or oily skin this moisturizer is the way to go!

Tea Tree Water Toner Water - At first I thought the idea of "toner water" was a waste of money but after reading the positive reviews I decided to go ahead and grab a bottle. I can say it was not a waste at all. After washing and drying my face, I tend to spritz a few times with this and let it air dry and it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean. Since the cosmetic warrior face mask also has tea tree as a major ingredient, the two were amazing at keeping my acne at bay and slowly clearing up my face.

So far I haven't experienced any major negative aspects while using Lush products so I can't wait to start the new year with their goodies by my side. I've also sampled a couple of products during my vacation so there will be a trip scheduled soon to grab a few more things before I head back to campus!
