Do You Believe In Magic?

I received this product for review purposes.

Here's one Hollywood beauty secret you should definitely know about.

Introducing Egyptian Magic

This all natural skin cream has been known to cure anything from burns to dry skin from head to toe. I first saw the hype about this product at Birchbox and really wanted to give it a try. The reviews were definitely persuasive and made me wonder if this stuff actually works. Sadly, my box this month didn't include the sample so when a lovely representative from Egyptian Magic themselves gave me the opportunity to review a jar I was too pleased!

I can admit to being a bit skeptical on why this was called a "Magical Cream". The packaging of the jar looked a bit like something that belongs in my grandmothers medicine cabinet (no offense granny). Sort of vintage but I didn't mind at all. I was way more interested in using the cream itself anyway. I noticed that the directions told me to take a "moderate amount" and "rub it in your palms until it takes the form of an oil". That's when I got a bit nervous. My skin is super sensitive and the word "oil" screams breakout.

So, I decided to read the ingredients very carefully which wasn't hard to do since there's not much too it and it's located right on the front of the jar (which is usually a good sign). Olive oil, beeswax, honey, bee pollen, royal jelly and propolis extract was all that's to it. Also Egyptian Magic stated on their website that this product is an "all natural skin cream made from six of nature's most powerful moisturizing and healing ingredients". So, I gave in which wasn't hard because I really wanted to share it with you all.

I came to the decision that I wanted to use it as a night cream to see if I'd noticed any slight or major changes in the morning. The cream itself is fragrance free or should I say no fragrance added or synthetic preservatives. With my combination/sensitive skin this was a good bonus. It sort of reminded me of a balm but for your entire body. My face didn't fully absorb all of the oil so I was left a bit shiny which was sort of expected. I also appreciated how a little definitely goes a long way. I can tell that this jar will last at least months which is good for those who love products that can last without replacing them daily (which should be everyone)!

In the morning I can actually tell that my face was still moisturized and definitely not as shiny from the night before. My skin felt super soft and I didn't breakout! I don't think I would recommend applying this to your face following by going outside (especially when the sun is out) right away. I don't believe oil and sun will get along well on your face.

P.S. - Did I mention that this is an "all purpose" skin cream? So not only can this go on your face, but it can literally go all over your body for any reason. In my opinion it's a great hand cream and even leaves those dry patches on your knees and elbows super soft and moisturized.

Now you're probably wondering how much does this product cost and how much you're actually getting out of it. Well so far there are two options available for purchase. You can purchase a 2 oz jar for $26 or a 4 oz jar for $39 on the Egyptian Magic Online Store (shipping is not included). Remember a little does go a long way so either choice should hold you over for quite some time.

What do you think? Do you believe in magical powers?
