It's Only Thursday!

Today was such a drag in all honesty. The only good part about this Thursday is that tomorrow is Friday!

I'm mobile blogging today so I hope this post turns out well.

I've been super busy all week with tennis conditioning and homework. Today was just a slow and horrible day. I had my normal Aerobics class first thing in the morning which was great because I love exercising. Later I had my Food Skills & Catering class which was probably the worst class I've had yet since the class has started this semester. I wouldn't say the class was horrible but our task had a bad turn out. At least for me. I ended up with a really bad stomach ache that lasted all day from testing out different "sauces" from around the world. :(

To cheer up the mood I did a lot of liking and re-pinning on Pinterest. I found this really cute #girlpower quote/post and I thought I'd share it with you guys. I'm not sure where it came from originally but I think it's rather amazing. I love the meaning behind the illustration. Go girls!

Here's one of the dishes I made in my Food Skills & Catering class on Tuesday. If you guessed "Bruschetta" you guessed right! I can't remember the exact measurements for all of the ingredients but I do remember what it's consisted of.

Ingredients:
  • Baguette
  • Olive Oil
  • Garlic
  • Tomatoes
  • Basil
  • Mozzarella Cheese (optional)
  • Salt and/or Black Pepper (optional)
It was so delicious!! I definitely want to thank my teacher Ms. Mullikin for sharing this recipe and giving me the opportunity to make this. I love it!

Everything that kills me makes me feel alive

I haven't done shared music in awhile but I love this song! It's so peaceful and lightens my day. Definitely puts me in the mood for Friday tomorrow. I hope you guys like this post!

  1. I remember back when I was in high school, I ended up in "Foods" class for 5th period during both my junior and senior years. Fifth period was lunch, so we always got to stay up in the classroom and cook ourselves lunch. It was awesome. We didn't make anything as fancy as Bruschetta, though. Usually it was just kraft mac & cheese lol.

    1. It's cool that you were able to make your own lunch everyday! I'm so jealous, even if it was only mac & cheese. :)
